How it started

Paige grew up in Riverside, California. She moved to Lake Havasu City in May 2014, the same move many of her buyers are thinking about making.

Once she was settled, her family started coming out to visit. They kept coming back, and eventually they wanted to buy property here too. They did not live here. From another state, they could look at listings all day and still not know what they needed to know.

They needed someone who knew the area. Someone who could go to a property and look at it in person. Someone who could get answers, tell them things they could not work out from far away, be straight with them, and put in the work.

Paige earned her Arizona real estate license so she could be that person for them.

How it grew

After that first purchase, she helped more family members. Then family friends. Then people she met around town. Then buyers who found her through Zillow and other real estate sites.

She did not set out to build a big operation. The business grew one buyer at a time, most of them people who needed someone local in their corner.

What she does differently

Paige's work is built around a simple fact. Most of her buyers cannot stand in the driveway themselves.

• She previews homes before you travel. Homes that will not work come off the list before you spend a weekend on them.
• She measures. Garage door height and width, clear depth, the lowest point of the ceiling, side yards and gates.
• She films what photos skip. The street, the driveway from the driver's seat, both neighbors, the view from the patio.
• She finds out. HOA parking rules, what is behind the lot, how old the air conditioning is, what the electric bills run.
• She says what she thinks. If a home has a problem for how you plan to use it, she tells you, even when you love it.
• She handles the on-site parts of escrow. Inspections, contractor visits, repairs and the final walkthrough.

What to expect when you reach out

1. You tell her what you are after. Through the Buyer Assessment, the contact form, or a call or text.
2. She replies herself, usually within one business day, with first thoughts and a few questions.
3. You talk. By phone or video. She explains how she works and what a buyer agreement involves.
4. You sign a buyer agreement. Paige shows homes, in person or by video, after it is signed. It can be signed electronically.
5. She goes and looks. You get video, measurements and a clear opinion.
6. You decide what is worth a trip.

No. She works with local buyers and sellers too. Out-of-area buyers are where her business began, and much of what she has built is designed around people who cannot be in town for every step.
